Joint Flexibility*
This low impact, low-intensity class designed to improve your flexibility, range of motion, and balance using a combination of walking, light cardio and stretching exercises. No swimming skills needed. Perfect for those with arthritis, fibromyalgia or recovering from joint surgeries (always get physician's approval first).
Jolly Joints*
A shallow end water workout that is easy on the joints but will still provide challenge for any fitness level. Water dumbbells are used for resistance.
Hydromania
Get ready for this energizing, fun Tabata style workout done to music. Both standard water exercise movements and athletic movements are performed in the shallow end of the pool. This class is a challenge for all fitness levels.
Off the Deep End
Come experience this fun but challenging deep end water workout with virtually no impact. It has lots of variety and movements to test your limits.
Sunrise Splash*
Slower moves and low impact exercises done in the deep end of the pool that provide a fun yet challenging workout for all fitness levels.
To What End
Not sure that you're ready for the deep end? This class is taught partially in the deep end and partially in the shallow with participants on both sides.
Water Shuffle*
A 1/2 hour fun but challenging combination of water walking, jogging and other cardio movements performed across the shallow end of the pool. Water weights, noodles and splash boards may be used to further challenge participants
Wave Makers*
Make the water move with this high energy class! No equipment needed. This results-oriented class is a combination of stretching, cardio, and core work in the shallow end.
Weightless in the Water
The water makes us weightless! This class is done in the shallow end of the pool and will help build strength and stamina without impact. Both water dumbbells and noodles are used to add variety and challenge.
Water Recovery
Water Recovery is a specialized aquatic class designed by a physical therapist, led by an instructor and perfected by you. Whether you are managing chronic pain or coming back from surgery or injury, the water provides a low-impact, weightless environment to help you heal. You take the lead and progress at your own pace while we provide the support you need to get there.
Class cost is $10 and entry can be purchased as a 5- or 10-punch pass for $50 or $100 respectively. The past expires after 60 days. The one-time purchase of an electronic entry keyfob for $10 is required.- This class is not part of a YWCA Clinton Membership.*
